Grand Haven Area Public Schools expands middle school boys basketball

The Grand Haven Area Public Schools' athletic department, in collaboration with the Northwest Ottawa Recreation Program and the B3 basketball organization, is expanding middle school boys basketball opportunities this fall. "This additional program creates a great opportunity for our middle school boys to continue with a competitive basketball structure," GHAPS Assistant Athletic Director Robin Bye says. "These teams will play a "B" level schedule against teams with similar skill levels in the West Michigan area, primarily from Holland to Muskegon." The season will run from October 24 through December 16, and will consist of students from both Grand Haven middle schools - one 7th grade team and one 8th grade team. Practices and home games will be held at both middle school facilities, and time and dates will vary to accommodate all programs. More information about this opportunity will be available this fall.
