Grand River Greenway Celebration continues with Ottawa County Park’s David Mazurek

GRAND HAVEN, Mich.  -- Maintenance and operations coordinator from the Ottawa County Parks, David Mazurek, will speak at the Loutit District Library, March 15, on the history and natural features of the Grand River.

New to kayaking or paddle boarding or wondering where to go, this session will talk about how to experience the best of the bountiful history of the Grand River, and the most exceptional natural features, while paddling the. Also, six of the most interesting paddling trips created especially for new paddlers by park staff-will be presented and discussed.

Mazurek has 25 year experience coordinating the maintenance and operations of the Ottawa County Parks. For the last couple years he has been developing information regarding the historical and natural features of the Grand River in Ottawa County in an effort to help new kayakers and paddle boarders become familiar with what the Grand River has to offer.

The program is free and begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Library’s Program Room A.
