Appeal rejected for man convicted of robbery and murder at jewelry store

(WZZM)- A Muskegon Heights man convicted of murdering two people at a Grand Haven jewelry store has lost his appeal.  The Michigan Court of Appeals rejected all six arguments made by Darick Anderson.

Two separate juries convicted Anderson and his brother Dimitri of armed robbery and first degree murder.  Investigators say both men robbed R.K. Jewelers in July 2008 and shot and killed the store owner, as well as a customer.  Both brothers maintained their innocence during sentencing last year.  They face life in prison without the chance of parole.
