New Book Shares Insights on the “Jewish Jesus”

SPRING LAKE, Mich., April 26, 2012 - In a new Zondervan book just published entitled, Walking in the Dust of Rabbi Jesus, author Lois Tverberg combines the latest scholarship about ancient Israel and Mediterranean regional languages and cultures to re-Judaize Jesus.  One local pastor plans to make a life application with this book for further study and discussion within the congregation.

Tverberg opens the book with a question, “What would it be like to listen to Jesus’ earth-shattering words through the ears of a first-century disciple?”  She leads readers through the core statement of Jewish faith, the Shema, to help people deepen their understanding of Jesus’ Scriptures and application to modern times.
