Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Seven Steps Up Event & Banquet Center

Seven Steps Up Event & Banquet Center in Spring Lake will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. The Chamber of Commerce and local Spring Lake Village officials will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30pm, followed by an open house from 5pm to 8pm. The public is welcome to attend.

“We’re excited to finally host our grand opening after working out a few kinks over the last few months,” said co-owner, Michelle Hanks. “We delighted that our affiliated caterers will be joining us and serving up free samples of their food to the public.”

The evening will feature five caterers from the area: Consider It Done/Desserts by Design, Porto Bello, and Anthony’s Kicked Up Catering from Grand Haven. From Muskegon, Ryke’s Catering and Bakery, and Hearthstone Restaurant will participate.

It should be a fun evening for anyone that would like to tour the facility,” said Mrs. Hanks. “We hope people from the area will drop in and see all the renovations we’d done. Besides the free food from our caterers, we’ll be offering beer and wine specials for the evening.”

Seven Steps Up is an intimate event and banquet center located downtown in the Village of Spring Lake. Housed in the historic landmark that was originally the Spring Lake Masonic Temple, the venue hosts receptions, parties, concerts, corporate meetings, class reunions, and other special events.
