Tax Prep Help for Seniors at Spring Lake District Library | Events
Spring Lake, MI-The North Ottawa County Council on Aging is offering free tax preparation assistance for seniors at the Spring Lake District Library during the month of March. The Council on Aging partners with AARP to provide trained volunteers who can assist with basic state and federal tax forms as well as Homestead Property and Home Heating tax credits. Appointments are required. Those wishing to schedule an appointment to meet with a volunteer at the library will need to call the North Ottawa County Council on Aging at (616) 842-9210.
The library also has Federal and State tax forms and instruction booklets for those who are filing their own tax returns.
