SPRING LAKE, Mich.-- Mercy Health welcomes Missy Lavender, founder and executive director of the Women’s Health Foundation for “Any Age, Any Stage: The Truth About Women’s Pelvic Health & Wellness.”

Her presentation will take place Thursday, September 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Trillium Banquet & Conference Center in Spring Lake. The event will include light appetizers and desserts, cash bar, door prizes and shopping opportunities.

About Missy Lavender

Missy Lavender is the founder of Women’s Health Foundation (WHF), and a pioneer in championing pelvic health and wellness for women of all ages. Ms. Lavender founded WHF in 2004 and is its strongest advocate. Prior to that, she was a business executive in the fields of investment management, investor relations and real estate banking. Ms. Lavender has a B.A. from Miami University, as well as an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. A Francophile and mother of two, she lives in Chicago with her Portuguese water dog, Beeb.

Ms. Lavender’s relentless commitment stems from her personal experience as a post-partum patient. With an award-winning empowerment approach to pelvic health education, WHF focuses on arming women with knowledge and simple behavioral modification approaches through programs and services, research, and community outreach with the ultimate ambition to turn a sisterhood of silence into a sisterhood of strength. Over the past year, WHF’s programs and services have impacted over a quarter million of individuals.
