Ottawa County Parks invites you to soak in the splendor of fall by kayak.  Paddle the Pigeon or Grand River on a guided tour as the crescendo of reds, oranges and yellows dance across nature’s canvas.  Ottawa County Parks is offering four Color by Kayak Trips.  Paddle excursions on the Grand River are scheduled for Saturday, October 12 and Saturday, October 19 from 12-5 PM.  Kayaking trips on the Pigeon River are scheduled for Wednesday, October 23 and Wednesday, November 6 from 12:30-4:30 PM.  Each guided trip includes a basic kayaking lesson. The fee is $15 per person.  There is an additional $26 fee for kayak rental which includes the kayak, paddle and life jacket.  Call the Nature Education Center at 616-786-4847 to register.
