SPRING LAKE, Mich.-- Join Dr. Dan O’Keefe for a fish-eye view of life in the Grand River on Wednesday, June 19 at the Spring Lake District Library.

 Dr. O’Keefe is the Michigan Sea Grant Educator for Southwest Michigan.  During his 7 p.m. presentation,  he’ll share underwater video, photos and persevered specimens as he explains where and when to find popular game fish. Learn about the more than 100 fish species living in the Grand, including the resident river monster and shy quillbacks.

Michigan Sea Grant works to protect and promote sustainable use of the Great Lakes and coastal resources. The Sea Grant initiative includes research, education, and outreach efforts to promote better understanding and conservation of the Great Lakes fresh water system.
