Sierra Club Forum to Focus on Air Quality in West Michigan

GRAND HAVEN, MI – With summer just around the corner, comes ozone action days. What solutions are out there?

Come to a forum presented by the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter on Thursday, June 4 at the Loutit District Library composed of local and statewide activists and experts:

- Michigan Department of Community Health Asthma Network and Michigan Air/Michigan Health

- Local students who have recently done air quality testing led by Holland League of Women Voters Representative Don Triezenberg

- GVSU Professor of Sustainability Eric Nordman, and

-Chuck Tawney from the West Michigan Jobs Group

The program begins at 7:00 p.m. in LDL’s Program Room A. Attendees are encouraged to come early for the booths, demonstrations and exhibits beginning at 6:30 p.m.
