My Town Grand Haven: Veteran's Appreciation Dinner Dec. 10

GRAND HAVEN, Mich.—Veterans are invited to enjoy free food during Clock Funeral Home’s Veteran’s Appreciation Dinner Wednesday, Dec. 10.

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Grand Haven funeral home will serve up chili and dessert for veterans.  Visitors can also enjoy live piano music by Dale Clock and take in the dozens of decorated trees decorated for Clock’s Trees For Charity celebration.   Each tree is tied to a charity.  Visitors can vote for their favorite tree or charity by donating at least $1.  The money will go to the charities and nonprofits mentioned on each entry.

“Veterans are always honored on their calendar holidays, which is a great thing, however it shouldn’t be limited to just that. Holidays can be lonely and often invoke emotion. Our team here at Clock’s want to provide a place for veterans to gather, share food and fellowship and simply enjoy. It’s our way of saying thank you,” said Dale and Jodi Clock.

Clock Funeral Home is located at 16777 Lincoln Street.
