GRAND HAVEN, Mich. - Thinking about or already adopted a dog for your child or children?

If so, then come to the Loutit District Library on Feb. 13 as Must Love Dogs Boutique of Grand Haven hosts a free mini-seminar by the Muskegon Lakeshore Obedience Training Club on responsible dog ownership and bite prevention.

MLOTC members will be on hand with child-friendly dogs to show your child or children best pet practices and how to prevent and handle dog bite situations. To top off the seminar, there will be Freestyle Dance demonstrations. Freestyle Dance is a fun and modern dog sport, mixing obedience training, tricks, and dance allowing for creative interaction between dogs and their owners.

The Responsible Dog Ownership and Bite Prevention seminar is perfect for children who are asking for a puppy, children who already have a dog, and for children who are or will ever be around dogs. This seminar runs from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. in LDL’s Program Room A. For more information, visit www.loutitlibrary.org or call (616) 842-5560, ext. 214.
