GRAND HAVEN, Mich.-- The White Pines Planetarium will be showing "The Cowboy Astronomer" on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. "The Cowboy Astronomer" is a collection of star tales and Native American legends narrated by humorist Baxter Black.  It includes constellation identification and astronomy facts. Following the show, there will be a tour of the night sky and a look at January's celestial events. The cost is $3. A free presentation entitled "Planetary Exploration: NASA's Current and Future Missions" will follow both showings of "The Cowboy Astronomer", at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. respectively. This event is part of NASA's Solar System Ambassadors program and will feature the science, discoveries and images from NASA's missions to Mercury, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn.
