GRAND HAVEN, Mich.– "Topless on the Beach" is not about some sunny Jamaican beach hidden from public view, but the findings of Great Lakes diver and author Valerie van Heest .

Van Heest will expose her latest discoveries of Grand Haven shipwrecks during the discussion on May 23 at the Loutit District Library. An award-winning author, member of the Women Divers Hall of Fame, and dynamic presenter,  van Heest shares the fascinating stories of Great Lakes shipwrecks and her expeditions to discover and document them. These stories come to life through historic photographs, spectacular underwater images, and intriguing commentary.

Her program begins at 7 p.m. in LDL’s Program Room A. Van Heest will have her books available for purchase and will be available to sign copies following the presentation.
