LDL Helps Downloading eBooks Onto Nooks - March 7

GRAND HAVEN, MI -- Loutit District Library’s Adult Services Librarian Mary Kay Moran will lead an interactive program on March 7 on how to borrow library books onto Nooks.

Moran will cover a variety of Nooks including the Nook Color and Nook Tablet.

This program is free and held in LDL’s Program Room A beginning at 7 p.m.

Grand Haven's Odd Side Ales Getting Ready To Bottle Brews
Odd Side Ales is getting closer to hitting store shelves. Odd Side Ales on Washington in downtown Grand Haven says it's one of the smallest breweries in the country, but being so tiny allows it to produce some uniquely crafted beers more often.   The brewery is getting ready to release its brews in bottle form using an off site production facility.  It was recently testing its bottling system that holds 252 bottles on a pallet.

GRAND HAVEN, MI  -- Loutit District Library’s Adult Services Librarian Mary Kay Moran will lead an interactive program on how to download library books onto iPads or smartphones on Feb. 7.

Moran request attendees bring their iPad or smartphone as they will download and explore the Overdrive Media Console application using their device.
