GRAND HAVEN, Mich. -- Changes in marketing have left many small businesses wondering what they need to do. Consumers have made a monumental shift on where they are getting information- online research is on the rise. Small businesses have started to emulate what others are doing without thinking through what is the best for them.

This workshop, presented by Laura Holmes, of FineLine Creative Inc. and LaShelle Mikesell, encourages each business to listen to and observe their customers. Before making an investment in time and money, understand what you are trying to do for your business then choose which medium or mediums fits your needs.

This free workshop, presented by SCORE, will be held at the Loutit District Library on Tuesday, Jan. 27 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the library’s Program Room A. To register, visit www.loutitlibrary.org or call (616) 842-5560, ext. 200.
