My Town Grand Haven: LDL kicks off SCORE business series with web design workshop

GRAND HAVEN, Mich.-- A well-designed website makes a small business visible to the whole world,  bringing customers to its doorstep, creating credibility, and facilitating communication and e-commerce.

Loutit District Library  will offer a free workshop targeting those new to website creation and the Internet marketing presented by Bob Fountain of SCORE on Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. in Program Room B.

How should business owners design and launch their website? Unlike posting on social media, learn to have complete control. The workshop will include:

• help with design decisions
• cost and content considerations
• analytics (measuring the effectiveness of your site)
• conventions for naming your site
