Grand Haven, Michigan – The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg is pleased to announce that Steve Loftis will lead the parade as this year’s Grand Marshal of the 2011 Jingle Bell Parade as it winds through downtown Grand Haven on Saturday, December 3.

Steve was born in Grand Rapids and is one of seven children. He was introduced to the food service industry as a part-time employee when he was 14 years old. In his efforts to make Grand Haven even more attractive Steve hosted for 19 years the “Chilly Blues Festival”.  His commitment to the preservation of the Grand Theater condominium property and restaurant pays homage to local history and represents Loftis’ dedication to the future of downtown Grand Haven.
