LDL’s Sunday Concert Series presents GVSU Student String Quartet

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. – The Laker Quartet from Grand Valley State University will present a classical concert of string instruments as the Loutit District Library’s Sunday Concert Series continues on April 12.

The student quartet features violinists Jaclyn Ruedisueli and Alison Sall; violist Elizabeth Boyce; and cellist Kevin Flynn who will perform works by Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich and German composer Felix Mendelssohn.

The concert will be held on LDL’s upper level lobby area from 2-3 p.m. Library officials urged the public to come early due to limited seating. LDL opens at 1p.m. on Sundays.

Funding for LDL’s 2014-15 Sunday Concert Series is generously provided by the Matilda and Harold Crane Donor Advised Fund of the Grand Haven Area Community Foundation.
