GRAND HAVEN, Mich. -- The Loutit District Library begins its sixth season of Sunday afternoon concerts on Sept. 14 with a library centennial offering presented by the Grand Haven Women’s Club.

Ron Hlebinski, the organist at First Presbyterian Church in Grand Haven, will be playing ragtime music of the era from Scott Joplin and others. In addition, Dr. Wallace Ewing will offer vignettes and glimpses of life in Grand Haven during the same time frame--the beginning of our modern library. The Grand Haven Women's Club will also provide tea for all attending to round out the afternoon.

This is the first in a series of nine free monthly concerts held at LDL on the second Sunday of the month through May 2015 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Concerts are held on the library’s upper level lobby. For more information, visit the LDL website at www.loutitlibrary.org or call (616) 842-5560, ext. 200.
