GRAND HAVEN, Mich. -- In the world of photography, sometimes what you need isn't a better camera, but knowledge of the principles that go into making a great image.

The public is invited to join photographer Jennifer Batts for her presentation "Learning to See Creatively: How to Take Great Photos with Any Camera" on Thursday, Sept. 4 at the Loutit District Library from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Batts will explore ideas, techniques and compositional guidelines for improving your photography. Anyone with any kind of camera can attend and learn something new and can start taking better photos tomorrow.

The program is free to the public and held in the library’s program room A. For more information, visit www.loutitlibrary.org or call (616) 842-5560, ext. 200.
