GRAND HAVEN, Mich.  -- The Platinum Quartet, a group of saxophone students from the music department at Grand Valley State University, will perform at Loutit District Library (LDL) on December 8, as part of the library's Sunday Afternoon Concert Series.

The Platinum Quartet is a saxophone quartet comprised Andrea Voulgaris on soprano sax, Michael Mitrovitch on alto sax, Cameron Miller on tenor sax and Matthew Kobberstad on baritone sax. Since forming, the group has had an active schedule of performing works at a variety of venues on and off GVSU's campus.

The group plays many styles of music, including classical, tango and contemporary.  The free concert begins at 2 p.m. in LDL’s upper level lobby. For more information, visit www.loutitlibrary.org or call (616) 842-5560, ext. 214.
