SPRING LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM)- A Fruitport boy and a Spring Lake woman are hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash Friday afternoon at Cleveland and Kruegar Streets.

Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies say a pickup truck was towing a car with a rope around 3:30 p.m. Friday when a minivan hit it in the intersection. 

Tina Gust, 41, was steering the car at the time.  She was taken to Hackley Hospital with serious head and chest injuries.  At last check, she was in serious but stable condition.

The driver of the minivan, Jerome Acterhof, 26, was treated and released from North Ottawa Community Hospital with a minor chest injury.  Corbin Acterhof, 7, suffered a serious head injury and was flown to Spectrum Health.  At last check he was in serious, but stable condition.  Jordan Acterhof, 4, was also riding in the vehicle.  He was unharmed.
