Loutit District Library to host author Kim Douglas

GRAND HAVEN, Michigan – Loutit District Library is partnering with the Center for Women in Transition to present author Kim Douglas on October 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the library’s Program Rooms A and B.

Her book, High Desert, is a courageous, gripping, and deeply personal auto-biographical account that offers one person's experience of growing up in an abusive home and learning to rely on her faith and spiritual beliefs to heal and grow in ways that go beyond traditional twelve-step programs and other approaches.

Copies of this book will be available for purchase and signing at the program. For more information call 616-84205560, ext. 212 or visit www.loutitlibrary.org.
