Grand Haven survives Jenison

JENISON (WZZM) -- Having knocked off Rockford last week, the Grand Haven Buccaneers tried to avoid a let down against the Jenison Wildcats Friday.

In the 1st quarter Jenison's Seth Diekevers had his punt blocked by Grand Haven.  The Bucs' Nick Whalen scooped it up and was brought down inside the 15.  The Bucs would try a field goal but would miss it so the drive would stall.

In the 2nd quarter Jenison's Jesse Fulkerson set up for a long field goal attempt but it landed short.

Grand Haven survived Jenison 7-0.
